Key Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you’ll undertake many different tasks and be assigned a variety of responsibilities. Here are just some of the things you can expect when joining us in this role.

Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – empowering them to enjoy a great life filled with amazing experiences.

Support the Service Manager to actively promote a learning culture within the team, assisting colleagues to further develop their knowledge & training.

Assist with the ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of support plans and risk assessments.

Act as the lead when management require your expert support, ensuring effective and proactive communication between members of the team and an environment where the people we support can flourish.

Support people with maintaining hygiene and personal care, providing assistance as appropriate.

Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities and celebrate special occasions.

Based in Colchester, you’ll find our Central Support Office and business functions. Using their specialist expertise to ensure our colleagues and the people who live in our services have all the support they need on a day-to-day basis – from ensuring quality and compliance, to keeping our Finances in check, or supporting colleagues as a part of our People Team.
