Funded DBS Checks

As a provider supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs, DBS checks are an essential requirement of your employment with us. That's why we cover the cost of all DBS checks when colleagues join us, and again through our three yearly rechecking process, ensuring that you can join us, and continue to work with us, without any financial burden.

Interview Process


Find a Role & Initial Call

Check which role is right for you, then search our vacancies and apply online today. Our dedicated in-house recruitment team will then call to share a little more about the role.


Interview and Meet & Greet

The next step will be a face-to-face interview with the Manager of the service. There will also be a chance to meet the people living in the service – so they’ll get a chance to meet you and be involved in the interview process.


Your Offer & Onboarding

If you’re successful at interview stage, we’ll be in touch to offer you the role and talk through the next steps on your Consensus journey. We’ll work with you to organise your free DBS check and gather references to ensure compliance prior to confirming your start date.



Your journey with us begins with a 3 day online induction with our Learning & Development Team, following by your induction at the service in which you’ll be working.
