We're one of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2024

We are thrilled to announce that it’s a win for colleague wellbeing – as Consensus is named on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ 2024 List.

The Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list focuses on employees’ holistic experiences of wellbeing at work, including their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction, and financial security, to reveal the best workplaces for wellbeing in the UK.

Our inclusion on this exclusive list officially acknowledges our commitment to create a consistently and overwhelmingly positive employee experience, to foster cultures that are proven to drive business, improve lives, and better society.

Over the last year we’ve introduced numerous new benefits to solidify our commitment to employee wellbeing, and one we’re particularly proud of is the enhancement of our Mental Health First Aider Programme. As of today, we now 53 MHFA’s, growing the team by 150% in the last 12 months, and we’ve introduced a simple and confidential way for colleagues to access mental health first aid support when they need it.

To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List, Great Place To Work® reviewed our culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from our employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark our company’s employee value proposition against the culture our employees actually experience. Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.

From our anonymous employee feedback, it’s clear that our team highly commends our commitment to enhancing and nurturing company culture, recognising our efforts to create an environment that prioritises colleague wellbeing and where people can truly be themselves – which is so important to us at Consensus.

Within our Great Place to Work® survey, one employee shared their thoughts on our ongoing commitment to colleague wellbeing, stating “I find the organisation always has one’s personal wellbeing first and foremost and is always finding better ways to achieve this support.”

And that just about sums it up perfectly.

Our inclusion on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list is testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams over the last year to building a workplace that champions wellbeing and puts colleagues at the front and centre of it all. We’re creating a culture where everyone feels valued as individuals and empowered to be themselves, and we’re delighted to have achieved this accolade as a result.

Benedict Gautrey, Managing Director of Great Place To Work UK says: “Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture. Now in our third year of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial and social wellbeing. It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation. Congratulations to Consensus for making this prestigious list!”

This is our fourth award from Great Place to Work® over the last 12 months, earning a place on the Best Workplaces for Women 2023™ list, the Best Workplaces for Development™ 2024 list, and not least achieving our spot as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2024.

We are super proud of this achievement and so very thankful to our colleagues who work hard every day to create a place that people truly want to come to work, where they feel safe and nurtured, and where wellbeing is prioritised not only for the people we support – but for our amazing colleagues who support them. This one’s for you!
