The 2024 Christmas Card Swap

Last year our ‘Christmas Card Swap‘ campaign launched – and what a success it was. Bringing our services together to exchange cards with one another and connect with services from all corners of the UK, every single service sent and received a card – with some pretty tearful and joyful outcomes too.

Betty at Phoenix House left her flat for the first time in 10 years as a result… it really was phenomenal!

And now for the second year, all our services have been exchanging cards again. Sharing their favourite songs, designing beautiful artwork to share with one another, getting crafty – and most importantly, spreading festive cheer and joy. Here’s what some of our services got up to…

Gretton House

Drawing Phoenix House to send their card too, being local a few of those from Gretton decided to personally hand deliver their cards – wanting to see the smiles at Phoenix House receiving them! Everyone had got involved in writing personal letters to the service, and of course hand designed their cards with so many creative talents.

Main Road

Getting their cards ready for sending, it was only right Mark got in the festive spirit – donning his Santa hat and sparkly tinsel necklace. Even making his cards 3D with pom poms and fluffy snowmen, it’s guaranteed that the service receiving his card was going to love it.

Haydock House

Receiving the bets glitter card ever, the group at Haydock House were grateful to receive their card from Southwold House.

Valley House

Preparing their cards for sending, C headed to the shops ready to get all the craft supplies for the group to use, getting into the festive spirit. And D was super excited to colour in his card and get craft – what a job he did. His support team thought they better add his name to his painting, all cautious they wanted to avoid any copyright laws in case his incredible painting goes to auction – what a talent.

Using vibrant colours and imaginative designs, L was all smiles for the camera showing off her creative spark – we loved seeing all the creations from Valley House.

Connecting one another this festive period, there were plenty of smiles being shared and Christmas songs being played – enjoying every moment together.
