Spook-tacular costumes & plenty of parties - Halloween 2023

Cleverly crocheted pumpkins, mystic magic tricks, terrifying fright nights, and a whole lot of spook-tacular costumes! Here’s what everyone’s been up to across Consensus for Halloween…

Perrywood House

For the people at Perrywood, creepy crafts were on the table – joined by Deputy Manager Jodie’s daughter Gracie, together they created some spook-tacular displays showcasing their creative talents. Alongside a trip to Dr Frights (where many screams were shared) everyone had a wonderful time getting in the Halloween spirit.

And of course no Halloween was complete without an array of costumes; Rebecca dressing as a zombie ringleader, Jo donning the devil, and Ellie as the little boy from IT – balloon an all!

Rowan House

At Rowan House, everyone had a blast doing the monster mash at their Halloween Party – joined by guests from Kingston House. Bernie (resident singer AND magician) showcased his fantastic magic tricks for Peter, Sally, Ayse and Susan to enjoy, and magical it certainly was.

Rowan House were also our winners of this years pumpkin parade, carving and crafting some amazing pumpkins. Put together by Rowan House, enjoy their fang-tastic Halloween video;

Leofric Villa

And at Leofric Villa, they also had a boo-gie at their Halloween celebrations. Playing pass-the-pumpkin, a lot of fun, laughter, and dancing was enjoyed by all; all whilst showing off their creepy costumes.

Jake from Leofric Villa also had a garishly great time, having his dream come true of visiting the Fear Fest at Alton Towers – something he’s wanted to do for years. With a beaming smile on his face throughout, we’re so happy to see Jake having a wonderful day and making memories that’ll last (or haunt!) for a lifetime.

Heather Holmes

Cameras at the ready… the wonderful support worker Kim spared no expense whilst decorating Heather Holmes! From very grave gravestones to scary skeletons, all her terrific work is recognised and appreciated by all. Who’s planning a visit to see Heather Holmes decorations next year? Me!

Beech Court

For the guys at Beech Court, they also enjoyed getting creative with carving pumpkins, and donning their scariest fits for the Halloween party. With too many sweeties and smiles to count, everyone had a wonderful time.

Paul from Beech Court chose to visit his friends at King Edward Grove for Halloween – it looks like you had a fantastic time Paul.

Walton Road

Tammy & Nihat from Walton Road also enjoyed carving their pumpkins and cursing the home with petrifying decorations – amazing job guys.

And for all the rest of our homes, we hope everyone had a wonderful time celebrating Halloween. Here’s some of the fantastic entries from this year’s Consensus Pumpkin carving competition:
