Following the announcement of our first Greatness Award winners, it’s time to delve into each of our wonderful winners – showing exactly how great they are.
And behind the scenes, working every day to support colleagues and the people who live in our services, you’ll find our central support teams – and our first central support Greatness Award winner, Georgina.
Georgina puts the people we support, and those who support them, at the heart of everything she does, every day and in every action she takes. It’s this commitment to people, and the work that she does that led to her receiving this accolade.
Joining Consensus in early 2023, our Marketing & Communications Executive Georgina’s role is vast, varied and very busy. In fact, you’ll have already seen her work in action – but you just didn’t realise it was her. Everything our audience sees and reads; Georgina will have been at the heart of it. She manages this website, she writes the stories you read here, she designs all the beautiful branded things you see, and if you’ve ever seen us on social media, well that’s her too.
Her nomination read, “Georgina’s passion for sharing the amazing things people achieve and enjoy every day is evident. If something great lands in her inbox, she cannot wait to share it. She has real pride in what the people we support accomplish every day, and that shines through in the delivery of her work too.”
And behind the scenes she’s always thinking of ways to better support and engage people, ideas that people will enjoy, and goes ahead in making it happen, because she cares about who we are and what we do here at Consensus, often going beyond the remit of her day-to-day job. There are so many projects – big and small – that have been all down to Georgina. But you wouldn’t know because she doesn’t take the credit for it. Her joy comes from knowing that she’s made a difference.
