Who We Are
Our Commitment
Heading off to the sandy beaches of Bournemouth for a summer get-away, Mary-Anne enjoyed a fantastic 5 days in June making memories, soaking up the lovely weather, and tucking into plenty of yummy ice-creams to cool down.
Following a trip to Bournemouth back in 2023, Mary-Anne and her family decided this was the perfect spot for this years trip, as the holiday last year was particularly special as it was Mary-Anne’s first time traveling by train – both a fun and amazing accomplishment.
With a jam-packed schedule planned, here’s everything Mary-Anne managed to squeeze into her time exploring Bournemouth:
Mary-Anne’s adventure began with a visit to Bournemouth’s busy town centre to explore all the local shops and begin the hunt for the perfect souvenir to take home with her.
On the second day, Mary-Anne headed to Bournemouth Pier to enjoy a ride on the Pier train, taking in the beautiful views of all the sandy beaches. Stopping off along the way, Mary-Anne spent some time gazing at the sealife at the local aquarium, as well as visiting a very quirky upside down house. Posing for plenty of photos, it felt a bit strange heading back to the hotel afterwards where the furniture was on the floor, and not the ceiling!
Heading to the Red House Museum & Art Gallery on day 3, Mary-Anne was fascinated by the local history and admiring the amazing art exhibitions. Followed by a walk in the local park afterwards, the day was spent exploring and learning.
Mary-Anne’s fourth day took her to Boscombe Pier, and just like at Bournemouth Pier, she couldn’t resist taking another ride on the Pier Train! Spending some time making sand castles and dipping her feet in the sea, Mary-Anne really enjoyed her last day before heading home the following day.
We’re so happy to see that Mary-Anne really did make the most of her summer getaway with thanks to the team at 48 The Grove planning everything down to a tee. Arranging fun activities and organising everything well in advance so every moment could be spent enjoying themselves, Mary-Anne is already eager for her next holiday.
Perhaps Bournemouth for a third year running? We’ll see what adventure is in store next year!
