From 41 to 53 trained Mental Health First Aiders

At Consensus, we don’t just talk about mental health – we champion it! As a core part of our wellbeing strategy, we’re building an environment where every team member feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.

One of the most exciting aspects of our mental health approach is our thriving network of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders). From 41 trained MHFAiders in October last year, to an incredible 53 trained as of June 2024, in just two years we’ve ensured there’s MHFAiders positioned across every corner of Consensus. Providing a listening ear and support in times of need, they’re helping to change the culture around mental health – making it something we talk about openly and without stigma.

Easily identifiable, all our MHFAiders have a special badge they proudly display on their email signatures, there’s always someone close by ready to lend a helping hand.

During our recent training cohort in June, 16 wonderful people completed their training – with passion, dedication and commitment to supporting those around them. Sharing a glimpse of the feedback on the training;

  • “The course was great. Our trainer was very knowledgeable and great to talk too.”
  • “I really enjoyed every aspects of the course, our trainer was brilliant and held everyone’s attention – allowing good group involvement.”
  • “It really was an eye opener, and I’d highly recommend it for everyone.”
