Who We Are
Our Commitment
Consensus is proud to announce that we have been named on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™.
The Best Workplaces for Wellbeing list focuses on employees’ holistic experiences of wellbeing at work, including their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, social support, job satisfaction, and financial security, to reveal the best workplaces for wellbeing in the UK.
Being recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing is a reflection of the culture we’re building at Consensus, one where our colleagues feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work.
This recognition acknowledges our continued commitment to creating an environment where wellbeing is embedded in everyday experiences, leadership decisions and the support we provide to our teams. Over the past year, we’ve continued to invest in initiatives that strengthen colleague wellbeing and foster a culture where people can thrive both personally and professionally, including the ‘Stronger Us’ programme, designed to support colleague wellbeing, resilience and teamwork, recognising that a confident, supported workforce is essential to delivering high-quality care.
To compile the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List, Great Place To Work® reviewed our culture, benefits, approach to leadership and development, alongside anonymous responses from our employees. They then used these data insights to benchmark our company’s employee value proposition against the culture our employees actually experience. Only the businesses who achieve the highest scores after evaluation receive Best Workplaces™ status.
From our anonymous employee feedback, we can see that overall our team highly commends our dedication to improve and grow our internal culture across our business.
“We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised once again as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing, and even more proud to see us continue to climb the rankings year on year, from 30th in 2024, to 28th in 2025, and now to 25th in 2026.
This achievement reflects the commitment we’ve made as a business to creating an environment where our people feel supported, valued and able to thrive both professionally and personally. Wellbeing isn’t a standalone initiative for us, it’s embedded in our culture, our leadership approach and the experiences we create for our colleagues every day.
While recognition like this is fantastic, what matters most is ensuring our people genuinely feel the positive impact of the work we’re doing. We’ll continue listening, learning and investing in wellbeing as we strive to make our workplace a great environment for everyone.”
Anja Carter, People Director at Consensus
“Creating a culture of wellbeing requires deliberate leadership, strong values and consistent action that puts people first. The UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ List recognises organisations that take a genuinely holistic approach to supporting their people, across mental, physical and financial health, as well as fostering a strong sense of belonging.
To be recognised on this list is a clear signal that wellbeing is not treated as a peripheral initiative, but as a fundamental part of organisational culture. Congratulations to Consensus on this achievement and for setting a leading example for workplaces across the UK.”
