At Consensus, we have appointed Katy Preedy as our new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Katy brings to the role extensive operational experience and a deep understanding of the organisation, having held senior leadership positions at Consensus for over 14 years.
Having started her career as a support worker, Katy has built an impressive career in the care sector, holding deputy manager and service manager positions before joining Consensus in 2012 as an Operations Manager. She has since held several senior leadership roles, most recently as Managing Director. Katy’s breadth of experience across frontline and senior operational leadership provides her with exceptional insight into Consensus and the needs of the people we support.
In her new role, Katy will lead our operational strategy, supporting our organisation’s continued expansion, with a focus on ensuring a great quality of life for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs and maintaining Consensus as a great place to work.
This appointment follows continued organisational development at Consensus, as we continue to strengthen our leadership team to support our long-term growth strategy and commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
