Every year, we celebrate the leaders across Consensus who have truly made every moment matter for the people that live and work here during our annual leadership awards.
This year, we were honoured to present Katrina Pender with the Manager of the Year Award, recognising a leader who was nominated by their colleagues for truly outstanding leadership. Katrina has been excelling as a peripatetic manager, meaning she has been covering multiple services and multiple teams at a time, helping them where they need it.
One of their nominations said, “Kat has shown commitment and dedication in supporting services and teams that are going through challenging times. She is kind and caring, and recognises that colleagues need a leader who will help them navigate more difficult times with patience and kindness. She is always upbeat and shows excellent leadership bringing teams together so positive outcomes can be achieved for the people we support.”
