Every year, we celebrate the leaders across Consensus who have truly made every moment matter for the people that live and work here during our annual leadership awards.
This year, we were honoured to present Lukasz Obroslak with the Fish Philosopher Award, recognising him for embodying the principles of the fish philosophy: Choose your attitude, Be there, Play and Make their day. Consensus adopted this concept two years ago as a new approach to teamwork and leadership, and Lukasz has been the perfect role mode.
He was nominated for always thinking about how to make someone’s day a little brighter, from seeking out ways to inject fun and playtime into a normal working day so his team genuinely enjoy being at work, to always being present so people know they can approach him to talk, to sauntering around wearing an inflatable unicorn costume during our conference to spread some smiles (and side-crippling laughs!) Lukasz passion for happiness spreads to everyone around him, every day.
Lukasz said, “Having fun makes working easier, it’s the best thing for morale. A smile is infectious and brightens everyone’s day so that they can enjoy being at work. Fun makes this a happy team, and a happy team is a great team – it’s a simple as that.”
