Clare House is a busy, bright home with an active social calendar giving people their own space and independence with the knowledge support is always there when needed. Everyone here loves to get together for art days, pamper times, evenings around the fire pit, and trips out to safari park or cinema. People love spending time together gardening or enjoying the sun with their friends and family.

We love empowering people to achieve their personal goals – whether that’s looking after your own pet, joining a bowling club, or sports team or being supported to visit a local church. Keeping fit and active is a big priority in the home. The people living here are out and about every day to exercise – with the annual Kilt Walk being a great chance for people to get out, keep fit, have fun together and fundraise for their chosen charities.

Specialising in Prader-Willi Syndrome, Clare house supports those with PWS to manage this complex condition, getting them involved with meal planning and cooking so they have the skills to lead healthy lives and make their own choices, but providing education and support to ensure the resident’s safety and wellbeing is at the forefront.
