Meet Veronica from Frinton House. Having volunteered at her local charity every Wednesday for the past 3 years, Veronica’s volunteering at Bexhill Warming Up The Homeless (WUTH) has had a positive impact for the homeless people of Bexhill.
Since starting her role, Veronica’s confidence has grown massively. Getting stuck in with anything & everything that needs doing, building relationships with all the other volunteers; it’s fantastic to see how Veronica’s passion for helping people is making a positive difference in the lives of others.
And it certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed. Fulfilling her duties with pride and care, Veronica has recently been awarded the ‘Best Individual Volunteer Person’ – way to go Veronica! Recieving her award from the Mayor & Deputy of Bexhill, they both expressed what a great job Veronica has done, and how they’re proud of the way Veronica has been supported to achieve her goals – way to go Frinton House!
Celebrating with a coffee back at Frinton House (at Veronica’s request!), Emily & Veronica spent some time reflecting on all of Veronica’s achievements, and celebrating her wonderful success. Wanting to share her news with the world, we’re thrilled to share Veronica’s fantastic achievement, and how she’s making a positive difference in the live of others.
Where every moment matters, we’re proud of Veronica for spending her time to make a difference in the world.
