Thoughtfully designed to provide self-contained houses that create a calm and nurturing low-stimulus environment, they combine privacy with access to high-quality support when needed. People living at The Haven will benefit from the support of a skilled staff team 24-hours a day, specifically trained in Autism, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support.
Located centrally in Selby, The Haven boasts excellent access to local amenities, including shops, colleges, parks and varied leisure activities, and is well connected through regular transport links across North Yorkshire. Each house is composed of 1 or 2 bedrooms, and has it's own private fenced back garden, and is powered by air source heat pump technology to provide energy efficiency.Â
A Registered Manager with extensive experience of leading complex services will work closely with our PBS Team to ensure that PBS Plans are developed from initial assessments and throughout transitions, supporting the care team to deliver the highest levels of person-centred care based on the identified needs of each individual, whilst promoting maximum independence and opportunities for people to live a life they choose.
