Service Manager Emmanuel might need to start looking for a new job, as Oliver took over his role for the day… and quite frankly, absolutely smashed it! Demoting Emmanuel from Service Manager to Deputy Manager, Oliver took the reigns for the day – organising rotas, responding to emails, and running his home in tip-top shape.
From organising colleague rota’s supported by Jaden, to completing the important car mileage forms with Mani, Oliver got stuck into all the important day-to-day tasks of a Service Manager, and what a busy day it was. Oliver even had some experience of our Health & Safety Manager, Christina’s job role – as he got to work completing the fire evacuation test.
And want to know his final task of the day? Giving everyone extra shifts of course!
Oliver shared; “I got to be manager for the day, and I really enjoyed it. I got to tell my deputy (Emmanuel) what to do all day.”
Dreaming big, next on the agenda is Michelle’s job who he’s already been emailing in anticipation – Area Director for the day!
Supporting people to try new experiences and dream big, it’s been a joy to see Oliver enjoying his new role and hearing his thoughts on how his home should be run. We can’t wait to see what Oliver achieves next.
