Who We Are
Our Commitment
On National Smile Day, what better way to put a smile on your face than seeing what everyone has been up to across Consensus throughout the month of May. We’ve seen Joshua take a trip to his local polling station to cast his vote on the new Mayor of London, colleagues enjoying the beautiful sunshine together, and a trip to a Cat Café – fun, laughter, and making memories together.
Embrace every moment with us and enjoy May Moments.
Getting stuck into sustainability, the people at Strawberry Fields have been collecting their excess food waste for their new compost bin – ready to add to their garden. One compost at a time, Strawberry Fields are making a positive difference to the environment around them, way to go everyone!
For Joshua at King Edwards Grove, he was eager to go cast his vote for the new Mayor of London, and contribute to deciding the future of the country. Expressing his views “I voted Labour to get a new London Mayor – I don’t really like Keir Stammers ideas but Rishi Sunak needs to go” – we’re proud to see Joshua expressing his opinions.
And for AJ, he’s been making the most of the beautiful sunshine with a lovely walk around the riverside. Taking in the views and watching the rowing boats go gliding past, hopefully we’ll have a sunny summer – perfect for exploring new places.
At 48 The Grove, the team came together for some fun and reflection, featuring some games and team-building activities, which included;
We love to see the positivity and teams bonding with one another.
At Dyscarr Grange, their family has been growing as they welcomed a new gentleman to his forever home. Spending his first night tucking into a yummy Chinese takeaway with everyone, we hope this will be the first of lots of happy memories to come in his new home.
And taking some time to bond as a team, Dave showcased his BBQ skills to bring everyone together for a natter and some yummy food. We hope we’re invited to the next one please!
Wellness, creativity, and baking some goodies, Kingston House have been busy as ever trying their hand at some banana & mixed spice chocolate muffins (including gluten free ones too!). Getting everyone involved in the mixing and baking, it was a struggle for everyone not to lick the yummy batter of the spoon.
Coming together for ‘Wear It Green Day’, Kingston House all donned their greenest outfits to raise awareness for Mental Health Awareness Week. Heading out to a local spot for some lunch and a natter, everyone joined spending time together and opening up with one another, with wellness at the forefront.
For the folks at Perrywood House, their love for cats took them on a trip to their local Cat Café in Bedford. Surrounded by lots of beautiful cats lazing around in the sun streaming through the windows, there were plenty of hugs and cuddles being dished out to all the cats by Adrian, Jo, and staff Jodie, Linda, and Paula. Ending the afternoon with a stroll around the Bedford Embankment, they’re already planning their next trip back to visit the furry faces!
Getting stuck in to life at Consensus, Lembo has recently joined the team at 46 The Grove and has already had a massive impact on everyone around him, spreading positivity. Service Manager Geena shared “We wanted to take a moment to thank him for all his hard work and making the effort to get to know the individuals, team and service.” Amazing job Lembo!
Whether it’s a colleague achievement, a new person moving into their forever home at Consensus, or a stroll on a summers day – we love being able to share every moment at Consensus, big and small.
Embracing life, inspiring others, and celebrating achievements – every moment matters.
