January Moments; a great start
to 2026

As we head into February, we can’t quite believe a whole month of 2026 has passed us by already! It’s certainly been a busy start to the year with new Sustainability Challenges happening in all our services, to our Central Support teams out on the road building connections and having plenty of fun.

Sharing a glimpse of life across Consensus, where every moment matters, enjoy life with us;

  • Blakeney House – Although it’s not quite Valentines Day yet, the team at Blakeney House couldn’t help but spread the love, having an arts & crafts session with all things ‘hearts’.
  • East Midlands – Talk about time flying, we can’t believe our East Midlands services (formally Creative Care) have now been with #TeamConsensus for a whole year. Celebrating the occasion with doughnuts & a calendar to mark their anniversary, we can’t wait to share some of the heart-warming moments from our services as they embrace their second year at Consensus.
  • King Edwards Grove – A lover of music, Russell decided that 2026 was the year to finally buy his own record player. Already owning a CD player, Russell wanted to listen to his music retro style, and what a hit it’s been. First up on the decks, John Denver!
  • 46 The Grove – Hitting the fruit & veg aisles, Steadman has been helping his home with the weekly food shop and has been thoroughly enjoying it.
  • Perrywood House – It was smiles all round for the people at Perrywood House, when 2 furry (and quite frankly ADORABLE) doggies waltzed through their doors after support worker Tanya wanted to brighten everyone’s day. Cuddles, fuss, attention – Barney & Max were certainly a hit and have been requesting a move-in date, they didn’t want to leave!
  • Marketing Team in Wales – For the Marketing Team, 2 days visiting our services in Wales meant selfies, selfies, and a few more selfies! Getting to know the fantastic teams & people we support, they visited Kieran at his volunteering role at the local café, made mango ice-cream at The Grange, and even held some chickens at Ty Hendy, a memorable trip indeed.
  • Southwold House – We were also thrilled to share that after their recent CQC Inspection, Southwold House was rated as ‘Good’ – where positive risk taking and a strong learning culture enables the people they support to live their best lives. With some lovely highlights littered throughout, read all about it here.

As we step into February, it’s moments like these that remind us what makes Consensus so special. From creativity and celebration to connection and everyday achievements, we’re proud to share the joy, dedication and passion that runs through all our services and teams.

From the every day moments, to the exceptional ones, we love witnessing every moment across Consensus and can’t wait to see what the rest of 2026 brings.
