Throughout December all our services up and down the country have been embracing the Christmas spirit – planning parties, wrapping presents, and decorating homes from head to toe in sparkling decorations!
With plenty of fabulous photos and visits from Santa Claus, find out what everyone has been up to. (Scroll down to the bottom to enjoy everyone’s smiling faces!)
Strawberry Fields
At Strawberry Fields, a special soiree was thrown – inviting friends, family, colleagues, and the people living at Strawberry Fields to a party, even complete with Santa’s reindeer! A joyous occasion, everyone spent the evening partying together, feeding the reindeer, exchanging gifts, and smiling from ear-to-ear.
One of the family members shared “The Strawberry Fields Christmas Party was a wonderful kaleidoscope of colours, lights, decorations and music”. What a beautiful day creating memories.
Nicholas from Strawberry Fields also enjoyed a trip to enjoy the sights of the Leonardslee Christmas Illumination – a real spectacular evening indeed.
Blakeney House
For the team at Blakeney House, their yearly trips to local restaurants for a scrumptious Christmas supper were a highlight indeed. Planning a trip for everyone at Blakeney House, and a trip to the local restaurant ‘The Sunflower’ for their team meal – smiles, laughter, and compliments to the chef were heard throughout!
Gretton House
For the folks at Gretton House, in the lead up to the special day they’ve been playing Christmas bingo, dancing & singing, decorating every inch of their (very big!) house, all with a whole lot of laughter and smiles along the way. Lending chef Carl a hand in the kitchen to make a 3 course feast, complete with mince pies and reindeer cupcakes, everyone has been coming together as a team to make some very special memories. They even had a surprise visit from the Grinch & Santa Claus – but they didn’t let the Grinch ruin any of their festive fun!
The colleagues at Gretton House also got involved in a secret Santa gift exchange – the only rule being the gift has to the worst or most inappropriate item they can find! With some amazingly awful presents, it’s great to see the team having a laugh as well.
Perrywood
At Perrywood, we had some achy arms in the lead up to the big day, after lots of handmade decorations were created, and too much Christmas shipping! Accompanied by Linda and Paula, Adrian and Johanna went on a trip into Milton Keynes to do their Christmas shopping and have a spot of lunch, and as you can tell from the photos, it was certainly a successful trip.
The gang at Perrywood also showed off their creative talents by creating a crocheted gonk (made by Ellena), a beautiful Christmas tree sequin art (made by Johanna), a Christmas tree forest (made by Lizzy and support worker Jodie), and a Perrywood Tree of Joy – complete with photos of their best memories over 2023.
We think Perrywood need to create their own Christmas craft book – what a talented bunch of people.
Kingston House
In Southend-on-Sea, Peter, Susan, Pauline, Sandra & Dawn at Kingston House enjoyed a Christmas Fayre at the lovely local cafe called ‘Phabulous’. With a surprise visit from Santa, yummy treats and posing for photos was enjoyed by all.
Following a trip to see Santa, Peter and Pauline even had some time to work together on making some fantastic Christmas decorations – proudly displayed in their dining room.
Windsor Avenue
Preparing their annual grotto, Windsor Avenue had visits from all the local homes in the area, including; The Heathers, Parvale, Symthe House, Haydock House, Weston Villa, Polwell Lane & Henson Court (who’s colleagues even got dressed up for the occasion!).
A day full of smiles, friendship, and celebrations, everyone had a fantastic day visiting Santa and taking in all the beautiful decorations. A big thank you to all the team at Windsor Avenue for making such a special day for everyone to enjoy, and to Owen for writing a letter to Santa to plan his special visit.
Ipswich Central Supported Living
At Ipswich Central Supported Living, the wonderful team came together for a yummy Christmas meal out. Enjoyed by all, everyone had lots of fun spending time with one another.
East Anglia Party
In East Anglia, lots of services came together for a massive party – enjoying time together playing musical statues, receiving chocolates from a very special guest… Santa Claus, and dancing the evening away. Inviting family and friends, it was a massive party full of heart-warming moments. Complete with live music, a big thank you goes to Shayne, Mel, Istvan, and everyone else who made it such a joyous occasion for all.
Leofric Villa
At Leofric Villa, after Jake sent a very polite letter asking Santa Claus to pay them a visit, the team managed to capture the magical moment happen. Spreading sparkles of magic (and some impressive moves), their were plenty of beaming smiles captured.
Central Support Office
Even in our Central Support Office, our colleagues were busy in the lead up to the big day preparing their desks for judging, all competing for the crown of ‘Best Decorated Festive Desk’. Some taking WEEKS to construct, the mighty Polar Express came in first place – have you ever seen a desk quite like it?!
A massive congratulations to Michelle and her little helper Joanne for creating an absolute masterpiece. We’re expecting big things for next year’s competition.
Phoenix House
You may have already read, but at Phoenix House their truly was a Christmas miracle – after Betty decided to step outside her flat for the first time in 10 years. Full of tears of joy, see the magical moment

Fieldbrook
And finally, Debbie at Fieldbrook spent the lead up to Christmas doing what she does best – raising money for charity. Donning the ugliest jumpers everyone could find, you can read all about Debbie’s fantastic fundraising efforts
