Who We Are
Our Commitment
Despite the festive period being over and being in 2025, we couldn’t help but share some more of the fantastic festive photos from December! Gingerbread houses, incredible fundraising efforts to give back to the local community, and lots of teamwork & bonding, enjoy December Moments from across Consensus.
At Main Road, teamwork and bonding were on the agenda for December! With lots of new colleagues joining the team, the fabulous trainer Jo spread her magic dust – leading a 4 day leadership development programme for the team. Learning to be great leaders, the positive impact on teamwork was incredible.
Having had lots of change at Deansbrook, the team thought what better way to build relationships than a party – colleagues & people we support celebrating altogether! Getting in the festive spirit before the big day, it was certainly a special moment in the service with everyone bonding and parting the night away.
Whipping up some fantastic creations in the kitchen, Michael spent his New Years baking a yummy chocolate log with Area Director Selina. A yearly tradition, Michael took the lead with the baking, leaving Selina with the most important job of washing up… the division of labour was certainly fair in our eyes!
Almost buried under the piles & piles of presents, the gentlemen at Ty Cwtch had a wonderful day celebrating Christmas, taking it in turns opening presents. It was tiring work opening that MANY presents, but they all managed to work their way through them!
With Santa doing the rounds, the team at the Parklands couldn’t wait to open their doors for the man himself. Spreading festive joy and confirming everyone was on the good list, Santa made sure his mince pies and milk were waiting for his journey ahead.
Known as the queen of fundraising, Debbie spent her December planning her next charity mission. Passionate about community, Debbie decided on a few different activities to give back to those in need. Gifting toys to a boy and a girl from her local B&M store and creating a food hamper for a local family in need – well done to Debbie for all her hard work in having a positive impact on others, she’s amazing!
Finding his way into the STEPS home, the cheeky elf on the shelf was causing havoc throughout December in the lead up to Christmas – up to no good while everyone was peacefully sleeping. Shocking everyone with his antics each morning, the elf wrapped the tree in toilet roll, yoda’d the tee, and even got into the fridge to cause trouble.
It was another busy month for the team at The Heathers…
Smiles from ear to ear, Kingston House had a wonderful festive period celebrating Christmas – showing off their wonderful presents! Flowers, jumpers, and a ‘Mr. Grumpy’ mug for Peter (who never stops smiling!), everyone had a great time together. Even putting their creative talents to the test by building a gingerbread house, there’s nothing the group can’t do.
At Valley House, David was certainly ecstatic over his new Christmas present… a model train track! Getting the track set up as quickly as possible, David has been enjoying his present every day since.
And for David M, he enjoyed his festive time by visiting his local garden centre to take in all the beautiful lights and decorations. For David, venturing out can be challenging at times, so we’re very proud of David’s wonderful achievement – we hope you had a fantastic day out.
And finally, we couldn’t not share the Pool Cottage Christmas tree! Smiles all round.
