It’s time to say a big congratulations to our third cohort of Every Moment Award winners! People that ensure every moment matters at Consensus, no matter how big or small.

This time we’ve had an incredible 33 winners crowned, so without further adieu, join us in celebrating the third cohort of winners.

“Steve always goes above and beyond for our supported individuals getting them engaged in activities beyond consensus. He has used his spare time to look up and connect with different community services to get our supported individuals involved in all aspects of community life and engagement.”

She took on additional responsibilities to ensure the workplace remained organized and efficient. She provided guidance to her colleagues, addressed any challenges that arose and maintained clear communication keep everyone informed. Her proactive approach and dedication created a positive and stale environment allowing the team to continue working effectively.”

“Zoe is a very loyal person. she came to work with us in March 2024 as a Deputy Manager, she has helped the service turn things around. She is very kind and is very thoughtful when it comes to the individuals. She is a very dedicated worker, goal orientated, and very supporting of staff. Staff feel she is very approachable and supports staff when they need it.”

“Jacky went above and beyond!  During her annual leave, volunteered to come in at short notice, putting back 1 of her annual leave days, so that an individual could be supported to attend a concern in Oxford.  The activity was a at risk of not going ahead had Jacky not made this sacrifice.”

“Over the last year Louise has been supporting me to improve our service following being placed as requires improvement by CQC. Her knowledge and expertise has been so valuable in putting things in to place to make us CQC ready. She is encouraging, supportive, understanding and easy to talk to. “Sophie has worked hard to make sure I have staff. She screened them really well and I have been able to hire most people who interviewed. She has arranged the recruitment day at Preston Job centre and is currently arranging another day for me. She has coordinated me with the AD to ensure Deputy interviews can take place. She keeps me in the loop at all times. She is a pleasure to work with.”

Lorraine Hewlett – Grovelands Farmhouse

“Lorraine is always a bright and bubbly person, bringing a smile to the service. She is incredibly welcoming to new staff and will do anything she can to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable within work. She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and help with whatever she can which is a welcome sight compared to other managers I have worked under in different care companies.”

“Supporting our individual SDS to ensure his rights and dignity are respected in difficult situations. Her reporting of these matters is also fantastic allowing us to support SDS better.”

“Stacy brightens up everyone’s day with her hyperactivity, although at times she is chaotic she works incredibly hard and February half term week she has ensured the young people have amazing experiences such as taking some to London, as well as keeping up with her responsibilities and completing extra work to get us to a better place. She is thoughtful and buys snacks and food for staff just as a pick me up, which is much needed at times.”

“As a new manager I have an issue with rotas – Sharon and I are resolving it and she has put the rota on manually to ensure my team are paid. She has been so helpful in working with me. She is just brilliant, keeping me updated on where it is up to.”
