Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you’ll undertake many different tasks and be assigned a variety of responsibilities. Here’s just some of the things you can expect when joining us in this role.
Help the people we support to engage in meaningful opportunities and activities – enabling them to lead a valued and fulfilling life and maximising their potential.
Contribute to ongoing assessment, planning and implementation of support plans and risk assessments.
Support people with maintaining hygiene and personal care, providing assistance as appropriate.
Communicate appropriately, considering individual communication needs, and helping people to communicate effectively with others, too.
Get involved in the community, support during leisure and social activities and celebrate special occasions.
Be assigned as a key worker, to offer further support to designated individuals
