Every year during the summer months we encourage all of our homes to get involved in Consensus in Bloom – a chance to get in the garden, show off those green thumbs, and transform spaces into wonderful outdoor havens. Encouraging sustainability throughout our homes, the people we support are encouraged to grow their own fruit & veg, upcycle furniture, or even create gardening displays that bring the outside, indoors.
And one plant, vegetable, paint brush, and crochet hook at a time – this year the entries have been as impressive as ever. Turning overgrown, untouched, or blank spaces into beautiful garden transformations. From gigantic sized home grown tomatoes to intricate crocheted flowers, it’s been very tough to select our winners.
After some long deliberations, we’re pleased to announce the winners in our 6 categories…
Best Garden: Norwich Road
Best Basket/Planter: Perrywood House
Best Home Grown: The Grange
Best Indoor Arrangement
Best Sensory Garden: High Street
Best Transformation: Rowan House
A massive congratulations to all our winners and runners-up – we love seeing everyone embracing every moment at Consensus, and getting involved in creating a sustainable future. All our other wonderful entries can be seen below;
