It’s National Apprenticeships Week! Across Consensus, we support our colleagues to be their authentic selves and progress within their careers – and one of the pathways is through apprenticeships.
Apprenticeships aren’t just for school leavers anymore – anyone can be an apprentice and learn something new, whether that’s a new qualification to further knowledge or exploring new skills to progress within a career. Learning and developing whilst on the job, it doesn’t matter at Consensus if you’re just starting out in your career or have been in your role for years, we support colleagues on the next stepping stone in their journey.
In the past year alone, we’ve had 18 colleagues achieve their apprenticeships, 39 currently on courses, and 9 colleagues in the enrolment process – all ready to make every moment matter in their career. These apprenticeships for our service based colleagues include;
- Adult Care Work Level 2
- Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3
- Lead Practitioner in Adult Care Level 4
- Leader in Adult Care Level 5
Alongside a variation of topics for our central support colleagues, which cover business skills, customer service topics, HR, project management, operations, learning & development, and everything inbetween!
Recognised as a Best Workplace for Development in 2024, we’re continually supporting our colleagues to flourish and explore new learning opportunities. And over apprenticeships week, we’ll be highlighting some of our wonderful colleagues who have completed their apprenticeships at Consensus – talking to them about their career paths, their apprenticeships, and how they’ve developed within their roles.
