Humber Mews is our brand new, high-quality, purpose-built supported living service in Bransholme, Hull, providing spacious, accessible homes for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex communication or behavioural support needs.
The service comprises 11 individual bungalows designed to promote privacy, independence and quality of life while enabling personalised support tailored to each person’s needs and aspirations.

Support Built Around the Person
Support at Humber Mews is delivered using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support approaches, ensuring that people are empowered to live meaningful lives, develop skills and achieve greater independence. We understand that behaviour is a form of communication and our highly trained teams work alongside individuals, families and professionals to understand what matters to each person, identify strengths and reduce barriers to success.

At Humber Mews we are committed to delivering support that promotes dignity, choice, control and human rights. Using PBS principles, proactive support planning and skilled staff teams, we work to minimise restrictions and reduce reliance on restrictive practices wherever possible. Support is regularly reviewed to ensure people have maximum freedom, choice and control over their lives while remaining safe and well supported.

Located in Bransholme, Humber Mews benefits from excellent local amenities and transport connections. Frequent bus services provide easy access to Hull city centre, Hull Interchange and wider East Yorkshire, supporting independent travel and community participation. The city centre can be easily reached by public transport. The nearby North Point area provides access to a range of everyday amenities including shops, healthcare services, a library and community facilities, helping people maintain independence close to home.   Hull offers a wide range of opportunities for leisure, recreation and community involvement.
