Who We Are
Our Commitment
Eakring, Newark
Sternhill Paddock is a modern six bed property located in the scenic village of Eakring in Newark and Sherwood, set in with a large garden and accompanying two acres of paddock. There is a welcoming and homely feel as soon as you walk in with a lovely lounge, a jam-packed sensory room with a big conservatory leading to the back garden. The garden backs on to local country nature trails and local transport links are 0.25 miles away.
Sternhill provides specialist residential services for young adults following positive behavioural support strategies to enable positive achievements in the form of life goals and outcomes. Each person has their own timetable where they can choose from a variety of activities which we are able to provide with access to both in house and community-based activities. Designed to empower young people in achieving life goals and personal goals, we offer support in encouraging choice through our home meetings. We provide choice through the weekly menu, activities and independent skills the people we support wish to build up. No goal is too big or too small for the staff and people we support at Sternhill.
Our highly trained staff have a passion for high quality support and a drive to support the people who reside at Sternhill to feel a purpose and a sense of good quality life and be provided with high-quality support. People are supported to attend college courses or access voluntary and paid work in order to build on their skills, self confidence and self-esteem.
