Launched last year, we’re excited to be sharing our second cohort of winners for the ‘Making Moments Matter Awards’ at Consensus – celebrating and recognising people who truly make every moment matter.
Having a positive effect on those around them, our second group of winners have made a real difference and are always thinking of ways to make Consensus an even better place.
So without further ado, meet the second group of winners for the Every Moment Awards.
“I cannot thank Leighanne my senior enough for all the hard work and devotion she puts into her job everyday, always goes above and beyond, making sure the people we support are loving life, she continues to grow and develop and I couldn’t feel prouder.”
“All staff look up to him and he guides and mentors them in a way that is motivating and professional. Nothing is too much for Chris he is a bundle of energy that completes all given tasks to a high standard.”
“Even on her days off when Lizzie pops in with the dog, she is very well known for grabbing brush or mop and helping supported individuals to clean their bedrooms or communal areas. Lizzie makes everybody smile and ensures every moment matters to them.”
“Nyawa has shown immense dedication and commitment to supporting the people at the Beehive and is a great team player happy to go above and beyond at all times.”
“Molly is a very valued member of the team and she continuously goes above and beyond for the supported individuals and the team. No task is to much for Molly.”
“At every point in time when faced with difficulty, he’s always there, willing to give a helping hand. He has been exemplary in words and decision as a leader. He’s doing a fantastic job and he deserves the shine for keeping every team member together.”
“Edmond is kind, always here for anyone to listen and give advice. He’s so helpful and gives his all to every single task when he’s working.”
“Paula is very committed, knowledgeable, and always available to offer support and a helping hand.”
“Nichola is a new staff member and since she has arrived she brings a positive energy to the home. She is very proactive and always strives towards making sure the people we support are getting out in the community and has their best interest at heart. She is a breath of fresh air.”
“Rebecca is new to social care. Recently she took the role of key worker for James at Clare House. She stepped up and made such a difference to James’ quality of life that his mum commented on how wonderful James feels and how well Rebecca works with him.”
“Arturas has consistently demonstrated a patient and empathetic approach, making a remarkable impact on the individuals he supports. Families have expressed their heartfelt appreciation for his dedication and commitment, recognising his ability to create a positive and caring environment. Arturas’s determination and positive attitude have inspired his colleagues, creating a ripple effect that uplifts the entire team.”
“Lisa is a superb colleague and Team leader. Lisa goes above and beyond to ensure the supported individuals have everything they need.”
“Muhammad has consistently gone above and beyond by being flexible and willingly taking on additional shifts. Muhammad has demonstrated remarkable qualities through his genuine support.”
“Adrian works tirelessly and supportively, for all colleagues in Kingston House!
He has worked for Consensus for many years. Forming good relationships with staff and people we support. He goes above and beyond even doing all the little DIY jobs around the service.”
“Daisy was promoted to team leader earlier this year. Daisy has also flourished in her role, she is supportive of the team and is proactive at all times. Since her promotion she has embodied that every moment matters to the people we support.”
“Since Rhys started, he’s had such a positive impact on Consensus and those around him. He’s always around for a chat and to support anyone with anything, and is passionate about making a difference – always with a smile on his face! Day-in, day-out, Rhys will always be there to help.”
“Jayne consistently goes above and beyond for residents, creating meaningful moments through personalised care, engaging activities, and a compassionate approach. She fosters a warm, supportive environment, ensuring residents feel valued and respected.”
“Caroline constantly provides a high level of care for the people she supports. She is driven by compassion and her heart is her biggest asset. She is a constant source of support and kindness for not just the supported individuals, but for the staff as well.”
“Karen works hard and is always there to talk to when you need someone to talk to and listens to you and Karen always brightens up the day. Karen helps anyone if they need it and is the driving force behind making special occasions that bit more special, whether it be a lovely Valentine’s dinner with decorations, to organisation events and raffles for charity.”
